Laura is widely known for her role as courageous paleobotanist Dr. Ellie Sattler in Steven Spielberg’s blockbuster sci-fi Jurassic Park and its latest sequel Jurassic World Dominion, as well as arthouse classics such as Blue Velvet and Wild At Heart. Recently, she has again risen to prominence with roles in the acclaimed series Big Little Lies and the features Little Women and Marriage Story - winning a Golden Globe and an Academy Award for the latter. In her personal life she is a vocal advocate and champion for women’s rights and environmental protection.
